About Me

My passion for storytelling started early. Around 10 years old, I was shooting and editing skate videos on VHS and exploring the power of Photoshop on a clunky box computer with dial-up internet. Fast forward to my teenage years, I hit the road in a touring hardcore band, managing everything from designing merchandise, crafting promotional flyers, and building our brand.

During my 20s, I served in the U.S. Army for eight years, traveling up and down the Pacific coast and to destinations like Korea, Taiwan, and Afghanistan. A wide array of life experiences quickly ignited my passion for exploring the world and understanding life from others’ perspectives.

After my military service, I dove into exploring the world of data science, earning my undergraduate degree in Data Science and Analytics, balancing my studies while working full-time as an air traffic controller in Honolulu, Hawaii.

In the summer of 2024, a medical emergency led to the loss of my medical clearance for air traffic control. While this was an unexpected and challenging turn, it allowed me to slow down and embrace creative pursuits while exploring new opportunities. I’ve always been one to tackle obstacles with resolve and find growth in adversity. Each chapter of my life, be it a hardship, a challenge, or an accomplishment, shapes how I perceive and capture the world through my own lens.

I feel truly blessed to have the opportunity to visit new places and capture still moments amidst today’s fast-paced world. Through this platform, I hope to inspire others to pick up a camera and explore their own creative interpretations of the world. I also look forward to sharing the perspectives I’ve captured and offering my skills to help others preserve their cherished moments.
